The Problem:
Marketing Solutions for a Key Co-op Program Intuit had launched
QuickBooks Solutions Marketplace, an online
site designed to promote add-on software products
created by its QuickBooks developer partners
– a key part of their overall end-user
loyalty strategy. However, to attain more
universal developer support, Intuit needed
to quickly raise awareness and use of Solutions
Marketplace among its small-to-medium business
clients, while also improving developer understanding
of the Solutions Marketplace program.
The Solution:
Multi-part Marketing and Testing Strategy Strand & Associates
implemented a multi-part, nine-month campaign
targeting developers and end-users. This comprehensive
approach to reaching users included a four-part
email campaign for end-users, a strategic
direct mail program to expand the prospect
base, and targeted testing to inform the roll-out
of the program to new vertical markets. As
part of the program, top-tier developer partners
were also recruited to test co-marketing efforts.
The
Result: Significant Increases in Awareness
and Site Traffic
By the end of the campaign, Intuit reported
traffic to the Solutions Marketplace site
was up over 33%.
